Job Description

About Us
We're a fast-moving startup building in the real world. Our work happens on the factory floor, not just behind a screen. Founded by SpaceX and NASA alumni, Relling is solving the manufacturing labor shortage through high-fidelity automation.
We’re small enough that your work will matter from day one, and we're growing fast. We don't want a standard social media coordinator chasing viral trends, and we don't care about vanity metrics. Views, impressions, and follower counts don't run a hardware business—pipeline, qualified conversions, and sustainable acquisition economics do. We need a hybrid growth marketer who can shoot raw hardware content on the floor, cut high-converting ad creative, and run the paid acquisition and analytics engine behind it.

The Role
Timeline: ASAP to December 23rd, 2026 (possibility for extension)
This role bridges full-funnel performance marketing, rigorous web analytics, and hands-on visual storytelling. You won't be sitting around waiting for an agency to deliver creative. You’ll be on the factory floor capturing our robots in action, editing your own hook-driven video and static creatives, launching targeted campaigns across ad networks, and diagnosing conversion bottlenecks in GA4.
If you know how to build a paid acquisition funnel, evaluate CAC, optimize CPC/CTR, and shoot your own performance creative, this role is built for you.

Your First 30/60/90 Days

  • By day 30: You'll audit our tracking infrastructure (GA4 events, Meta Pixel, conversions API), set up initial ad campaigns, and shoot your first batch of performance video hooks on the shop floor.
  • By day 60: You'll run structured A/B tests across Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Google/LinkedIn, systematically optimizing creative variants to lower CPA and drive qualified enterprise inquiries.
  • By day 90: You'll establish a repeatable conversion playbook—scaling winning creative angles, refining retargeting pools, and presenting full-funnel attribution reporting to leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Paid Acquisition & Optimization: Build, launch, and manage paid campaigns across Meta Ads Manager, Microsoft Advertising, Google Ads, and LinkedIn. Continuously test bidding strategies, audience segments, and budget allocations.
  • Analytics & Conversion Tracking: Own the funnel. Instrument custom events in GA4, build airtight UTM taxonomies, and analyze user drop-off to tie marketing spend directly to downstream conversion actions (leads, demo requests, pipeline).
  • Hands-on Creative Production: Grab a camera or phone on the factory floor to capture robot demos, deployments, and technical breakthroughs. Cut your own short-form video variants, statics, and motion ads tailored specifically to drive clicks and conversions.
  • Performance Over Hype: Evaluate every asset against hard business metrics: Click-Through Rate (CTR), Cost Per Click (CPC), Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), and conversion rates—not views or likes.
  • Creative Iteration: Treat creative as a variable. Constantly test new hooks, angles, and messaging to combat ad fatigue and maximize spend efficiency.

What We're Looking For (The Non-Negotiables)

  • Paid Ad Platform Experience: Hands-on experience building and managing campaigns inside Meta Ads Manager and Microsoft/Google Ads. You know how to structure ad sets, configure custom conversions, and troubleshoot attribution discrepancies.
  • Analytics Fluency: Proven ability to navigate GA4, configure event tracking, read attribution models, and synthesize data beyond surface-level reporting.
  • Commercial Marketing Metrics: You prioritize Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), and Conversion Rate (CVR). You understand why a 500k-view video that drives zero conversions is a failure.
  • Agile Content Creation: You know how to shoot crisp footage and quickly cut hook-heavy video ads using Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or CapCut. You understand pacing, on-screen text hierarchies, and compelling calls-to-action.
  • Onsite Presence: Fully onsite at our facility in San Francisco, working directly with the hardware and team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with B2B hardware or industrial lead generation.
  • Working knowledge of Figma for rapid ad banner and static asset prototyping.
  • Familiarity with CRM pipelines and landing page optimization (conversion rate optimization / CRO).

How to Apply
Send us your resume and real proof of your work. Do not send generic social media accounts showing follower counts. We want to see:

  1. Proof of performance: Case studies, dashboards, or breakdowns of ad campaigns you’ve managed or tested (share metrics like CPA, CPC, conversion volume, or spend).
  2. Creative work: Links to performance video ads or static ad variants you personally shot, edited, or designed.
  3. Your website or portfolio showcasing past growth or marketing projects.
