Planned extension capabilities
The planned PrismCV extension is designed around four browser-assisted tasks. These are preview capabilities, not currently available features:
The extension is not included in current Free or Pro plan value while it remains unpublished. Launch packaging will be documented before release. Current AI generation quotas remain 25 per month on Free and 150 per month on Pro.
Privacy and security
PrismCV runs only on the job and application sites named in its host permissions: LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, hiring.cafe, Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby. The Chrome Web Store release excludes the development-only PrismCV staging origin.
What the extension sends
- ✓ Job descriptions and scraped metadata, when you explicitly save, score, tailor, or track a job. Pausing on a LinkedIn result can request its score.
- ✓ Your resume file, once, during the setup wizard. Parsed into your profile bank, then discarded.
- ✓ Application metadata (job title, company, URL) when the auto-log fires.
- ✓ Account-associated operational telemetry: how many fields were filled, how long autofill took, and whether it succeeded. No resume text, job description, or application-field values.
What stays local
- ✗ Values read from an employer's form. Autofill reads from your profile bank to the form, never the other way.
- ✗ Any browsing history outside the allowed domains.
- ✗ Passwords, cookies, or session tokens from any site.
- ✗ EEO data (race, gender, veteran/disability status) unless you explicitly set it in the PrismCV web app.

Frequently asked questions
Is the extension free?
It is not available yet, so it is not part of either plan. Launch packaging will be published before installation becomes possible. Current product AI quotas are 25 per month on Free and 150 per month on Pro.
Does autofill submit applications automatically?
No. The planned workflow fills recognized fields, then leaves review and submission to you. Publication and final behavior must be verified before this capability is treated as available.
Why doesn't it support Workday?
Workday is not in the planned first-release scope. Supported sites will be listed only after a published build has been verified; broader browser and site coverage is uncommitted.
Can I use it on Firefox or Safari?
No browser is supported today because the extension is not published. Chrome is the planned first release; other browser support is uncommitted.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
The planned privacy model removes locally cached extension data on uninstall while keeping account data in PrismCV until you delete it in the web app. Final behavior will be documented and verified before publication.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Email support@prismcv.com with the page URL and a screenshot if possible. Requests for specific ATS support (“please add iCIMS”) help us prioritize.
