Getting Started
PrismCV is a career toolkit for reviewing how your resume is parsed, building job-specific versions, and tracking applications. It combines a resume builder, resume diagnostic, job aggregator, and application tracker in one platform.
After signing up, go to Documents and click "Create New." You'll choose a job title and one of 20 structured templates, then the editor opens where you can add your experience, skills, and education. Pro subscribers can also import a LinkedIn profile to pre-fill a resume.
Yes. The free tier includes 3 resumes, 20 templates, 3 ATS checks per month, PDF/DOCX export, unlimited job browsing, 30 saved jobs, 25 AI generations per month, and 50 tracked applications. No credit card required. See full pricing details.
LinkedIn profile import is included with Pro. From Documents, click "Import from LinkedIn," then paste your profile URL or upload your LinkedIn data export ZIP file. Both methods create a new resume pre-filled with your experience.
Resume & ATS
An Applicant Tracking System (ATS) helps employers collect and manage applications; parsing and filtering behavior varies by vendor and employer configuration. PrismCV's score is a diagnostic of the content it parsed and, when supplied, job relevance—not a prediction of whether an employer will advance you. Read the scoring methodology and limitations.
PrismCV parses the resume into structured fields, applies readiness gates, and evaluates content strength plus optional job-description relevance. With a job description, v3 weights keyword relevance at 55% and content strength at 45%; without one, the diagnostic is capped at 70. See the full methodology.
On the free tier you get 3 resumes. Pro users get unlimited resumes and versions. You can tailor a different resume for each job application, keeping a base version as your template.
AI suggestions analyze your resume bullet points and recommend rewrites that add quantification, stronger action verbs, and missing keywords. You can accept, reject, or modify each suggestion before applying it.
Job Tracking
The Applications page gives you a Kanban board to track every job you apply to — from Draft through Applied, Interviewing, and Offer stages. Drag cards between columns to update status, add notes, and set follow-up reminders.
We aggregate jobs from 10+ sources including Greenhouse, Lever, Workable, Remotive, RemoteOK, and more. Aggregator feeds refresh several times daily; company boards are revisited on a roughly two-day cycle. Listings can change between visits.
Yes. Use "Add Past Application" to manually add jobs you've already applied to. A browser-assisted save workflow is planned, but the PrismCV Chrome extension is coming soon and is not installable yet.
The unpublished extension is planned to assist with form filling, job-specific diagnostics, saving jobs, and application logging. It is not installable and is not included in current Free or Pro plan value. See the feature preview and availability status.
AI Features
Each of these actions uses 1 AI credit: running AI-powered ATS suggestions, tailoring a resume to a job description, generating a cover letter, improving bullet points with AI, and importing a LinkedIn profile via URL. The free tier includes 25 AI generations per month.
No. We use Claude by Anthropic for AI features, and your resume data is never used to train AI models. Your data is sent to Anthropic only when you explicitly trigger an AI feature, and it is processed under Anthropic's commercial terms, which permit limited-time retention (currently up to 30 days) for abuse prevention before deletion.
When you reach your monthly limit, AI-powered features will show a message indicating you've used your credits for the month. You can upgrade to Pro (150/month) for more, or wait for the next billing period when credits reset.
Billing & Account
Eligible first-time Pro subscribers can receive a 14-day free trial. Returning subscribers may be billed immediately. Stripe checkout confirms whether a trial applies and shows the renewal terms before confirmation. See pricing and checkout details.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and debit cards through our secure payment processor, Stripe.
Absolutely. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time from your Billing page. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated charges. Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing period.
Yes. Export your account content from Settings > Data & Privacy, or delete your account from the same page. Account content is deleted; limited email-suppression and de-identified operational records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
First-time Pro subscribers may request a full refund within 30 days of their first payment by contacting support@prismcv.com. Other refund requests are reviewed case by case.
