About Juno
Juno is an AI health assistant for the 1B+ people living with chronic illness.
We build a longitudinal health profile from patient conversations, biometrics, and medical history, then use it to surface patterns behind symptoms and provide tailored guidance.
Over 150,000 people already use Juno to reduce their symptoms and shorten the path to a diagnosis. Our goal is to make Juno the clinical specialist in the pocket of anyone living with long-term health problems.
About the role
You'll be our first founding engineer.
You'll work directly with the founders across the whole product: mobile architecture, AI, voice, health tracking, performance, UX and the systems that make Juno reliable for people managing real health problems.
What You’ll Work On
- Build and ship core mobile features across the Juno app
- Own interaction quality, animations, performance, and app feel
- Work closely with the founders to turn ambiguous product ideas into polished experiences
- Build the foundations for onboarding, personalisation, memory, voice/chat, and retention loops
- Debug across React Native, native iOS, backend APIs, analytics, and AI systems when needed
- Use AI-native development tools to move faster than most think possible and explore more ideas.
What we're looking for
- You've built mobile apps end to end.
- You're have strong experience with React Native/Expo and/or native iOS/Android.
- You're comfortable working in Swift or Kotlin when needed.
- You've worked with WebRTC, realtime audio, or similar realtime systems.
- You care deeply about craft: latency, animation, usability, copy and tiny UX details
- You can move fast and take ownership without needing much process
- You can relocate to San Francisco (we can sponsor a visa).
Nice to have (but not required)
- Experience building consumer apps
- Startup or founding engineer experience
- Open-source React Native packages you've built.
