- Manage supplier quality concerns through closure using structured problem-solving methods, including root cause analysis, corrective action review, and effectiveness validation.
- Support APQP execution by reviewing PFMEAs, control plans, process flows, and PPAP documentation for completeness and manufacturing readiness.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Incoming Quality, Logistics, Engineering, and Materials teams to align priorities, communicate risk, and restore stable production.
- Monitor supplier quality metrics, analyze defect trends, and identify actions that reduce recurrence, scrap, quality spills, and supplier-driven disruptions.
- Participate in internal audits and process assessments, document findings, and support follow-through on improvement actions.
- Support supplier engineering changes by assessing quality impacts, tracking required documentation, and helping ensure controlled implementation.

- Experience applying structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5 Why analysis, fishbone or Ishikawa analysis, and corrective action processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, organization, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with plastic injection molding processes.
- Automotive industry experience or experience working directly with suppliers.
- Understanding of IATF 16949 requirements.
- Familiarity with SAP, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar manufacturing systems.
