Job Description

About Redwood Materials

Redwood is localizing a global battery supply chain that seamlessly integrates recovery, reuse, and recycling — keeping critical minerals in circulation and driving the energy transition. Founded in 2017, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.

Responsibilities/Essential Duties will Include:

  • Develop, manage, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project details and ensure accurate schedule development.
  • Monitor project progress and performance to identify potential scheduling issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare periodic schedule reports, including critical path analysis, project forecasts, and status updates for stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update project baselines, ensuring that changes are documented, and schedules are revised accordingly.
  • Conduct “what-if” scenario analysis to forecast potential project impacts and devise mitigation plans.
  • Track and document schedule deviations and assess their impact on the overall project timeline.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of scheduling activities and provide training to team members as needed.
  • Coordinate with the cost control team to integrate schedule and cost information, ensuring alignment and consistency in project reporting.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, or related fields, preferably in construction, engineering, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent tools.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and practices, including critical path analysis and earned value management (EVM).
  • Experience with risk management and familiarity with schedule risk analysis.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding schedule management and best practices.

The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
