I. Summary/Objective:
The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement of the organization's facilities, ensuring a safe, functional, and efficient work environment. This position leads facility-related projects, supervises maintenance and janitorial operations, coordinates infrastructure improvements, maintains facility documentation and drawings, and ensures compliance with applicable regulations. The role provides the technical expertise required for facility-related projects and works collaboratively with the Administration Coordinator on procurement processes while maintaining primary responsibility for facilities management.
II. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the administration, operation, maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of the companyâs facilities.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Directly supervise the Chief of Maintenance and Janitorial Team, ensuring compliance with maintenance schedules, cleaning standards, task assignments, safety procedures, and performance expectations.
- Coordinate office renovations, infrastructure improvements, and construction projects, ensuring timely execution and compliance with company standards.
- Supervise contractors and verify the quality, completion, and compliance of maintenance and construction work.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs, operational risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, ergonomic, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support compliance with Free Zone Commission requirements related to facilities and infrastructure.
- Identify and implement initiatives that improve operational efficiency, facility performance, and workplace conditions.
- Maintain and update architectural drawings, office layouts, and facility plans, ensuring all renovations and workspace changes are accurately documented.
- Provide technical evaluation and recommendations of vendor proposals to ensure they meet operational and quality requirements.
- Validate the technical acceptance of completed maintenance jobs or projects.
- Prepare reports on maintenance activities, facility conditions, projects, and operational improvements.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the position, as assigned by Management.
III. Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising facilities, maintenance, or infrastructure operations.
- Experience managing facility improvement, renovation, or construction projects.
- Experience supervising maintenance personnel and contractors.
- Experience reading, interpreting, updating, and maintaining architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and occupational safety standards.
- Schedule flexibility.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and under pressure.

- Microsoft Office proficiency.
