Join us in building the future of finance.

About the team + role

We are building an elite team, applying frontier technologies to the world’s biggest financial problems. We’re looking for bold thinkers. Sharp problem-solvers. Builders who are wired to make an impact. Robinhood isn’t a place for complacency, it’s where ambitious people do the best work of their careers. We’re a high-performing, fast-moving team with ethics at the center of everything we do. Expectations are high, and so are the rewards.

The Performance Marketing team’s mission is to drive efficient, data-driven customer acquisition and growth for Robinhood by optimizing paid marketing investment across performance marketing channels like Google and Meta.

As Performance marketing intern, you will own performance marketing campaigns across Google and paid social, and are responsible for the full-funnel performance of your campaigns.

This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

At Robinhood, we believe in the power of in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community. Our office experience is intentional, energizing, and designed to fully support high-performing teams.

What you’ll do

  • Manage and optimize day-to-day performance marketing campaigns across Google Ads and paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok, etc.), monitoring spend, pacing, and performance against targets
  • Analyze campaign data to identify trends, surface actionable insights, and recommend optimizations to improve CAC, ROAS, and other key performance metrics
  • Build and maintain performance dashboards/reports to track campaign results and communicate findings to the broader marketing team
  • Conduct A/B tests on ad creative, targeting, and bidding strategies, and translate results into optimization recommendations
  • Partner with growth and analytics teams to ensure budget allocation and channel strategy are grounded in data, not assumptions

What you bring

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline with expected graduation date of Winter 2027/Summer 2028
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
  • Familiarity with SQL preferred; comfort working with data and a willingness to learn new tools quickly
  • Genuine curiosity and a proactive mindset — you ask questions, dig into the 'why' behind the numbers, and proactively identify what to tackle next
  • Self-starter with strong initiative, able to take ownership of tasks and drive them forward with minimal oversight

What we offer

  • Market competitive compensation structure
  • Quarterly lifestyle wallet for personal wellness, learning and development, and more
  • Access to the best AI tools on the market and continuous AI skill-building for every employee, technical or not
  • Time away including company holidays, paid time off, and sick time
  • Lively office environment with catered meals, fully stocked kitchens, and geo-specific commuter benefits

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected hourly range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones.
