✨ Snapshot of the Role:
As Senior Social Media Manager, you’ll help shape how MasterClass shows up across social, with a particular focus on bringing MasterClass Certificates to life for professional audiences. You’ll own the end-to-end organic social strategy and execution for Certificates—from campaign kickoff and creative development through launch, optimization, and ongoing storytelling—while also contributing to evergreen and broader brand social initiatives.
This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role for someone who loves moving between big-picture strategy and execution. You’ll partner closely with Creative, Marketing, GTM, and cross-functional teams to build social programs that grow engaged audiences, strengthen the MasterClass brand, and turn performance insights into smarter content. You’ll also have the opportunity to help define how we use AI to evolve our social workflows and creative process as the business grows.
✨ What You Will Do:
- Own the end-to-end organic social strategy and execution for MasterClass, from campaign kickoff and content development through launch, publishing, and optimization.
- Develop and manage social content primarily across LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube, tailoring creative and storytelling to each platform and audience.
- Partner closely with Creative, Marketing, GTM, and other cross-functional teams to develop compelling social concepts and ensure social is integrated throughout campaign planning and execution.
- Use social performance data and audience insights to continuously refine content, formats, and channel strategy, clearly communicating learnings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Contribute to evergreen and ad-hoc MasterClass social initiatives while helping develop AI-enabled frameworks and workflows that make our social organization more creative, effective, and efficient.
✨ About You (Requirements):
- You have a proven track record of 7+ years owning organic social for a recognized brand, with experience building and growing engaged audiences.
- You bring deep expertise across LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube, particularly LinkedIn and content for professional audiences.
- You’re equally comfortable with strategy and hands-on execution, moving seamlessly from big-picture thinking to bringing ideas to life.
- You’re data-driven, using social performance and audience insights to inform content, formats, and strategy.
- You’re a strong cross-functional collaborator who thrives in fast-paced environments, stays close to internet culture and trends, and can translate them into relevant, brand-appropriate content.
- This role is open to applicants based in the following locations: AZ, CA, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, MI, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, TN, TX, UT, WA or Ontario and British Columbia, Canada.
