Senior Product Manager, Capital

We have a massive opportunity ahead of us – to scale Adyen’s financial products by 10x, ushering in the next phase of growth for the company. Adyen has built a Financial OS spanning Capital, Banking, and Issuing, powered by our unified global platform, banking licenses, and dynamic identity data. 

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help scale Capital, which will be foundational for Adyen’s next generation Financial Products. The Capital team is on a mission to enable businesses to grow & thrive by providing them innovative financing solutions. The role is based out of San Francisco  and sits within the Capital team, which is part of our Financial Services product team.

Successful candidates will have demonstrated passion for financial technology and are excited about Adyen’s opportunity to build a meaningful Capital business in the next 2-5 yrs. In this role, you will be responsible for building a roadmap and executing on new financing products. You will collaborate closely with our Product, Commercial, Design, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Regulatory, and Compliance teams to deliver customer and business outcomes.

What you’ll do

  • Set strategy and roadmap for new Capital products.
  • Understand customer needs and make investments in products and features that deliver customer value.
  • Lead platform-scale execution working closely with the Engineering, Product, Design, Finance, Operations, Regulatory, and Compliance teams to deliver a highly automated platform that scales globally without compromising reliability or trust.
  • Operate with a data and experimentation first mindset defining success metrics for the team and adopting an AI-first product development approach that uses experimentation to measurably improve outcomes.

Who you are

  • 8+ years of experience building high-scale products in fast growing tech or fintech environments. 
  • 4+ years of experience in lending, banking, or adjacent products.
  • Track record of delivering complex product and platform initiatives at scale.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity with high autonomy and ownership.
  • You are able to translate technical complexity back to customer impact and understand the needs of different customers.
  • PM at heart with strong product instincts, data-based decision mindset, and highly focused on business impact.
  • Demonstrated passion for AI-forward thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability of setting vision and strategy for teams.
  • Strong sense of initiative and self-motivation.
  • A clear, compelling communicator who is comfortable interacting with both internal and external stakeholders from varying disciplines and cultures.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset  with a strong bias toward action and ability to move fast in the midst of ambiguity.

Total Rewards & Compensation

The annual base salary range for this role is $201,600 - $302,400. Compensation is based on factors including qualifications, experience, and location. Total compensation package includes equity (RSUs), 401(k), health, dental, vision, and more.

In-office expectations

This role is based in our San Francisco office. We're an office-first company and expect employees to work in-office at least 3 days a week on average. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while also supporting flexibility.
