Job Description

CatchBack is a live pack-opening platform for collectibles, backed by Y Combinator (W26).

Users open digital packs on our app and receive real, graded physical items: Pokémon cards,

luxury watches and an expanding set of categories. We are an early-stage team based in San

Francisco building one of the fastest-growing consumer marketplaces in collectibles.

CatchBack is seeking a Video Producer to join our growth team. In this hands-on role, you will

work alongside our growth creative lead, producing the video that powers our paid acquisition

and organic social channels. As a producer, you will shoot, cut and ship short-form creative from

concept through delivery, and use performance data to inform what you make next.

This is an in-person position based in our San Francisco office, with occasional travel for shoots

and events.

  • Shoot product, lifestyle and studio content as a self-sufficient one-person crew, handling

camera, lighting and audio

  • Edit short-form video optimized for Meta and TikTok, including hook-driven ad creative,

UGC-style spots, product demos, pack openings, etc.

  • Develop original ad concepts and bring forward ideas informed by platform trends,

competitive creative and account performance

  • Incorporate generative video tools into the production workflow, with editorial finishing

applied to all output

  • Write hooks, on-screen copy and short-form scripts consistent with the CatchBack brand

voice

  • Produce launch creative for new product categories, adapting tone and visual direction

to each audience

  • Collaborate with founders, engineering and operations to identify and capture content

opportunities as the product evolves

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A strong reel of short-form video made for brands, creators or direct-response

campaigns

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects) and/or DaVinci

Resolve

  • Fluency in TikTok, Reels and the conventions of short-form video
  • Comfortable working in a fast-turnaround, high-volume environment rather than a

traditional crewed production setting

  • Familiarity with trading cards, watches, sneakers or adjacent collector communities is a

plus
