Req #: 3447

About the Role

Uber Freight is seeking a Senior Client Engagement Manager to lead the execution and growth of our strategic partnerships with clients. Serving as the executive program owner, this leader will translate commercial strategy into a high-impact operational plan, coordinating cross-functionally across Business Development, Operations, Product, Tech, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success to deliver measurable financial value and exceptional client ROI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct end-to-end launch and program operations, mitigating interdependencies and risk across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strengthen executive-level relationship management through high-impact cadence (M&A reviews, monthly/quarterly business reviews).

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Own the relationship across product and local Mexican commercial teams.
  • Develop and execute the joint go-to-market strategy with Commercial teams, spanning account targeting, sales enablement, lead sharing, positioning, and engagement rules.
  • Lead end-to-end program management for the partnership, bridging the TM system and pipeline conversion with Uber Freight Implementation, Commercial, and Operations to ensure proactive resourcing, profitability, and aligned scope.
  • Serve as client primary strategic contact, delivering executive updates on progress, risks, and financial performance while partnering with Finance, BD, and Legal on forecasting and commercial guardrails.
  • Partner with Operations to establish workflows, SOPs, staffing, training, and capacity needed for customer volume.
  • Coordinate onboarding and handoffs across Client, Sales, Customs, Cross-Border Ops, and Customer Success to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Establish cross-company governance, including working-team cadences (e.g., QBRs), executive steering, decision rights, escalations, and commitment tracking.
  • Drive launch readiness across cross-functional partners (Ops, Commercial, Product, Tech, Finance, Legal, CS), proactively mitigating risks to timeline, service, or revenue.
  • Partner with Operations, Product, and Tech to resolve implementation risks spanning system capacity, process gaps, customer conversion, and scalability.
  • Oversee partnership monetization, managing rebate structures and tracking revenue and margin targets to maximize mutual value.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in account management, program management, implementation, commercial operations, business operations, consulting, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional programs with responsibility for project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and executive reporting.
  • Experience implementing a customer-facing commercial partnership, operational program, or technology-enabled service involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in freight, logistics, customs brokerage, cross-border transportation, managed transportation, or supply-chain technology.
  • Experience developing or implementing joint go-to-market plans, including account targeting, sales enablement, lead-sharing processes, and customer onboarding.
  • Experience establishing governance and performance scorecards for a strategic partnership or complex cross-company program.
  • Experience building business cases, forecasts, and operational capacity plans and using performance gates to inform investment or hiring decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders, resolve ambiguity, and drive decisions without direct authority.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate commercial terms into clear operating processes and executive-level updates.
