AP World & US History Online Instructor - Remote Job

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable AP World History & US History Instructor who can deliver engaging, high-impact sessions and help students achieve top scores in AP exams.

This role is ideal for someone who can simplify complex historical concepts, connect them to real-world contexts, and inspire students to think critically.

Conduct live, interactive online sessions for AP World History & US History

Plan and deliver structured lesson plans aligned with AP curriculum

Simplify complex historical themes, timelines, and concepts

Train students in document-based questions (DBQs), LEQs, and MCQs

Provide exam strategies, answer-writing techniques, and time management skills

Evaluate student performance through assignments, mock tests, and feedback

Track student progress and ensure consistent academic improvement

Maintain high levels of student engagement and participation

Communicate effectively with students and parents when required

Requirements

Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree inHistory or related field
  
• Strong understanding ofAP World History & AP US History curriculum
  

Core Skills

• Excellentconcept clarityin global and US historical events
  
• Strongstorytelling abilityto make history engaging
  
• Ability to teachanalytical writing (DBQ, LEQ)effectively

Technical & Teaching Skills

• Experience inonline teaching platforms (Zoom)
  
• Comfortable withdigital tools, presentations, and interactive teaching methods
  
• Ability to managesmall batch sizes (high engagement model)
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience teachingAP curriculum (US-based students preferred)
  
• Experience withinternational students / online tutoring platforms
  
• Proven track record ofstudent results (AP scores improvement)
  
• Exposure toproject-based or discussion-led teaching methods
