Job Description

Your profile

We are looking for Senior UI/UX Designer to shape the user experience of our AI infrastructure platform. Clients use our platform to access and operate two technical products, and the role is to make those products understandable, useful, and engaging without hiding the technical depth that makes them powerful.

Our platfora standard SaaS design role. The hardest part is understanding infrastructure-heavy products at a technical level — ideally including GPU infrastructure, scheduling, simulation, capacity, and operational workflows — and translating that complexity into a clear, modern, non-boring UI/UX for clients.

Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end UX and UI design for the AI infrastructure platform, covering both Scheduler and Simulator.

  • Design the Plattform which includes our two products Scheduler and Simulator

  • Create a shared design system and product language that makes both products feel coherent while clearly separating the live operational mental model from the exploratory simulation mental model.

  • Translate complex concepts such as GPU topology, heterogeneous accelerators, scheduling decisions, resource allocation, utilization tradeoffs, latency, power, and cost into clear workflows and visualizations.

  • Design data-dense interfaces that are scannable, trustworthy, and useful for technical users without becoming a spreadsheet, generic admin UI, or Grafana-style wall of charts.

  • Partner closely with product, engineering, infrastructure experts, and leadership to understand technical constraints and turn them into customer-facing design solutions.

  • Conduct discovery with internal experts and customers to understand infra/platform engineer, data center architect, and procurement/finance stakeholder needs.

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, design specs, and interaction documentation that engineering can implement confidently.

  • Challenge plain or overly technical infrastructure UX patterns and propose modern, differentiated solutions that build trust in high-stakes operational and capital-expenditure decisions.

What we're looking for
  • 5+ years of product design, UI/UX design, or interaction design experience, with clear senior-level ownership of complex product work.

  • Portfolio evidence of shipped, data-dense, technically complex products where you improved clarity, decision-making, and usability.

  • Strong information architecture, interaction design, systems thinking, and user journey design skills.

  • Excellent visual/UI craft: typography, spacing, hierarchy, color, interaction detail, and the ability to make infrastructure software feel confident, modern, and not boring.

  • Experience designing for complex B2B products such as developer tools, cloud platforms, observability/monitoring, data platforms, DevOps, AI/ML tooling, simulation tools, fintech/trading dashboards, or other technical enterprise products.

  • Ability to understand technical systems deeply enough to design for real expert workflows without oversimplifying the product or losing important signal.

  • Experience with dashboards, monitoring views, configuration flows, comparison views, capacity planning, metrics, alerts, logs, tables, or other dense quantitative interfaces.

  • Strong Figma skills, prototyping ability, and experience creating design specs for engineering teams.

  • Comfort working directly with engineers, product managers, and technical stakeholders in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

  • Senior-level independence: able to drive discovery, structure messy problems, challenge assumptions, prioritize UX risks, and deliver without detailed supervision.

Nice to have
  • Experience with AI infrastructure, GPU platforms, heterogeneous compute, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, schedulers, simulators, MLOps, data platforms, or distributed systems.

  • Understanding of GPU-level infrastructure concepts such as topology, accelerators, workloads, tenants, quotas, capacity, utilization, latency, throughput, memory, or power constraints.

  • Experience designing planning, simulation, scenario-modeling, CAD-like, graph, or comparison tools.

  • Experience with observability, monitoring, incident response, or other real-time operational interfaces.

  • Experience with custom data visualization, complex tables, network/topology views, D3, Canvas, WebGL, or frontend implementation constraints.

  • Experience designing multi-product platform experiences where several products share a design system but require distinct mental models.

  • Experience conducting research or usability testing with technical users, infrastructure teams, or executive stakeholders making ROI decisions.
