About Usul

Usul is a Silicon Valley AI lab helping America and its allies buy technology at the speed of Amazon Prime. We're Stanford dropouts, MIT AI scientists, and Tier-1 Special Forces Operators dedicating our lives to rebuilding the infrastructure that equips the Western world.

We’re the youngest founders to ever win a US Defense contract. Over the past year, we’ve helped Global 500 companies including RTX, BAE Systems, Palantir and Ukrainian drone manufacturers win $12B in contracts across 30 NATO nations.

You’ll be a forward deployed engineer working in the room on the data and workflows operators in the government will use daily to acquire any technology at the speed of relevance. You’ll also work directly on our commercial platform to help the biggest defense companies the world and frontier startups win government contracts across our allies.

Who we’re looking for

  • 2-5 YOE, full time, full stack

  • Knows how to build AI Agents and utilize LLMs effectively

  • Has confidence to present to operators and C-suites at Fortune 500s

  • Willing to travel to customers on site at military bases

  • Has passion for solving mission-critical national security problems

  • Builds intuitive UIs with React

  • Scrappy and fiery, pissed off with how the system currently works

  • ELITE Communication skills

Bonuses

  • Holds a TS/SCI or Secret Clearance

  • Has worked on government projects before

  • Familiarity with React, NextJS, Typescript
