Backend Contractor — Financial Systems (Ledger & Reconciliation)

About Vestris Vestris runs the entire real estate closing — coordinating agents, lenders, and HOAs, doing the title work, and making sure the money ties out before anything wires. One mistake in this process can cost millions. We're a small team (YC S26) building the software to handle it correctly.

The role We're looking for a backend contractor to build a financial piece of our platform: a reliable ledger for escrow funds, 3-way reconciliation, and bank/payment integrations.

You'd be a great fit if you

• Have built financial systems before (ledgers, reconciliation, payments)
• Spend careful time on specs and systems

~2-month contract, hourly and flexible, remote-friendly. Competitive hourly rate. Likely to extend if it goes well.
