Job Description

Founding Growth

We're hiring our first Founding Growth Engineer hire.

As our first growth teammate, you'll have significant ownership over how Soren grows, from building customer relationships to shaping our go-to-market strategy and brand.

This is a highly cross-functional role. You'll work directly with founders, clients, and prospective customers across sales, marketing, partnerships, events, and customer success. You'll help us identify where growth comes from, execute quickly, and build repeatable systems that scale.

We're a small, fast-moving team. We learn quickly, ship quickly, and continuously adapt based on customer feedback. If you're excited by ambiguity, ownership, and helping build a company from the ground up, you'll feel at home here.

What You'll Do

You'll work directly with prospective and existing customers to understand their needs, communicate how AI can create value, and help turn conversations into long-term partnerships.

You'll own growth initiatives end-to-end, from identifying opportunities and running outbound campaigns to supporting customer meetings, organizing events, and refining our go-to-market strategy based on what you learn.

Beyond customer-facing work, you'll help improve Soren itself by building scalable sales and marketing processes, refining our messaging, and creating the systems that enable us to reach and serve more organizations over time.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute outbound sales and business development initiatives.
  • Build relationships with prospective customers through thoughtful outreach and follow-up.
  • Support customer meetings, product demos, and solution discussions alongside the founding team.
  • Plan and coordinate events, conferences, workshops, and customer engagements.
  • Refine Soren's messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy through continuous customer feedback.
  • Create marketing content, case studies, presentations, and sales collateral.
  • Identify partnership opportunities and help build strategic relationships.
  • Build and improve CRM, sales operations, and growth workflows.
  • Analyze pipeline, customer feedback, and growth metrics to continuously improve execution.
  • Take ownership of new growth initiatives, experiment quickly, and scale what works.

You Should Join If You

  • Are an exceptional communicator who enjoys building relationships with others.
  • Have experience in startups, sales, growth, consulting, business development, marketing, or another customer-facing role.
  • Thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous, 0→1 environments.
  • Care deeply about understanding customers and solving meaningful business problems.
  • Enjoy switching between strategy and execution, whether that's meeting with customers in the morning or organizing an event in the afternoon.
  • Learn quickly, take ownership, and execute with minimal direction.
  • Want to help define both the go-to-market strategy and company culture of an early-stage startup.

About Soren

Soren is the AI transformation partner for regulated industries.

We work with organizations that operate in highly regulated environments to deploy secure, production-grade AI systems.

Rather than forcing organizations to change how they work, we build AI around their existing workflows, institutional knowledge, and security requirements. We develop custom AI agents, intelligent automations, and enterprise AI infrastructure that integrate seamlessly into how teams already operate.

Our goal is simple: make AI genuinely useful by solving economically meaningful problems.

Why Join Us

We're entering a once-in-a-generation shift in how knowledge work gets done.

For years, organizations have invested heavily in AI with relatively modest returns. In many cases, the technology wasn't the problem. The implementation was. Existing AI tools often require people to change established workflows or adapt years of expertise to generic software.

We believe the opposite approach is the future.

Instead of asking people to work like AI, we build AI that works like people.

By deeply understanding how organizations operate, we create systems that augment existing expertise rather than replace it. The result is software that people actually adopt, trust, and rely on every day.

At the same time, advances in AI now make it possible to deliver enterprise-grade, private AI solutions faster than ever before. Organizations that once couldn't justify custom software can now deploy intelligent systems in weeks instead of years.

If you're excited about building technology that has immediate impact, working directly with customers, and helping define how AI transforms critical industries over the next decade, we'd love to work with you.
