Founding Electrical Engineer
Streamline Systems · San Francisco, CA, US / London, England, GB
Job Description
Streamline Systems (F26)
We're building the replacement for GPS. A low-cost navigation module that positions platforms and guides drones without satellites. It's flying today. Now we need it hardened, productised and manufacturable.
I’m looking for a founding electrical engineer to own the hardware that makes satellite-free navigation real. Extremely high agency is what I care most about; you'll own the electronics end-to-end and have the freedom to run with it.
You should have:
- Experience owning a board from design and manufacture through bring-up and testing
- Deep RF design experience: you've designed and debugged real RF circuits and taken boards from schematics to working hardware
- Built something cool outside of work or school
Nice to have:
- Low-power embedded hardware and power systems
- Writing low-level C code and libraries (drivers, DSP, hardware bring-up)
- Antenna design and integration
Why join:
- Remove satellite dependency for the US, UK and allies. Real impact, real customers (LOIs signed, government trials scheduled)
- High agency, founding-level ownership of the hardware
- $60 -100k + 0.5-2% with a path to technical leadership
- $10k/year for a side project of your choosing
SF for the batch, US/UK after, be flexible on location. Applicant must have US or UK citizenship. If this is you, apply now.
