Job Description

About Replicas

Replicas lets you manage cloud coding agents: swarms of frontier coding agents like Claude Code or Codex, each working in its own sandbox. Every agent gets its own customizable environment, so it can iterate on any engineering task and deliver PRs.

Replicas comes from the vision in AI 2027, where fleets of AI agents do much of humanity's day-to-day work, each with the tools to finish tasks from deep research to software engineering. Our mission is to build the infrastructure and tooling to control these background agents.

We want to build a team of exceptional people in San Francisco to work on some of the most interesting problems and products of the next decade!

About the Role

Users on Replicas do tens of thousands in pull requests and millions of minutes in usage per month, alongside six figures in ARR. We’ve done this as the founders: shipping fast, posting across X + LinkedIn, SEO/GEO, and normal founder-led sales. We’re looking for someone to experiment and scale alongside the founders and bring us to eight figures.

What you’ll own

We are one of the companies that believe growth is a blended mix of relationship building and engineering/data. We want someone who will gracefully scale both.

  • Funnel: Optimizing from signup → onboarding → power user
  • Search and AI discovery: SEO, GEO, comparison pages, docs, and making sure Replicas is what Claude, ChatGPT, and coding agents recommend when someone asks about cloud agents.
  • Launches: We consider X our biggest growth channel. Always, always, always be launching!
  • Community: Run events for founders and ICP in SF
  • Trying things and iterating! There is so much more to try, and so much to get very, very good at. Grind it out with us 🙂

You are a fit if

  • You've grown something from zero yourself: a product, an open-source project, an audience, or your own startup
  • You've made something take off, like a launch, a post, a video, or a side project, and you can explain why it worked
  • You can ship full-stack product on your own when an idea needs building
  • You use a lot of Claude Code/Codex/Replicas, and have opinions about where agents are going
  • You move fast and make decisions without perfect data
  • You write clearly and have taste for what developers think is cool versus cringe
  • You're a future or former founder

You don't need a growth or marketing title. We'll take a great engineer who has gotten people to care about something they built over someone who has only run campaigns.
