As an Engineering Manager on the Client Platform team, you will lead a team responsible for building and scaling the systems that enable WHOOP to deliver a seamless, high-quality multilingual experience across mobile, web, and backend services. This includes owning the infrastructure, tooling, and workflows that power localization, internationalization (i18n), and right-to-left (RTL) support, expanding WHOOP’s reach to more global markets.
You will operate at the intersection of platform engineering, product experience, and global expansion, partnering closely with Product, Design, Marketing, and external vendors to ensure translations are delivered accurately, efficiently, and at scale. This role is highly execution-focused, with an emphasis on building reliable systems, improving developer workflows, and enabling rapid addition of new languages while navigating tradeoffs like vendor vs. in-house solutions.
